NumberFields@home - 2025 Year End Summary

1. We spent the majority of the year on rows 15 and 16 for the subfield 6 searches. Row 15 is now in the "essentially complete" phase, with only 15x12 left. Row 16, which is the final row, has progressed up through 16x9 (technically speaking, we have 2 weeks left on it).
2. Subfield 7, which is almost complete, is being polished off be the folks at Gerasim. Unfortunately, Gerasim sufferred a crash back in August which put things on hold. Sergey and Demis over at Gerasim are getting close to having is working again. The windows app appears to be working from my perspective, and we just need to get the other apps configured properly, so hopefully only a couple more weeks. Before the crash, the search had progressed up to 11 of the 25 congruences.
Looking ahead in 2026, the main goal will be to complete as mush of row 16 as possible for subfield 6.

Compared with last years the following process was made:
2014-2015 - 1 base proven, 314 bases unstarted
2015-2016 - 5 bases proven, 297 bases unstarted
2016-2017 - 5 bases proven, 282 bases unstarted
2017-2018 - 1 base proven, 264 bases unstarted
2018-2019 - 6 bases proven, 218 bases unstarted
2019-2020 - 4 bases proven, 120 bases unstarted
2020-2021 - 3 bases proven, 101 bases unstarted
2021-2022 - 0 bases proven, 97 bases unstarted
2022-2023 - 3 bases proven, 69 bases unstarted
2023-2024 - 4 bases proven, 69 bases unstarted
2024-2025 - 3 bases proven, 28 bases unstarted
in total - 35 bases proven, 28 bases unstarted
With the new pythonscript, available for windows, linux is planned later, we have decreased unstarted bases by a lot on manual testing.
There were many improvements like less RAM consumption and memory usage, and better distribution of workspaces among the workers.

All 2025 goals are done earlier and some 2026 goals were already started.
Unfortunately, all TF applications need to be renewed, which is why all results from the GIMPs server will be rejected after the 31st except mfakto apps earlier.

SkyHighWeFly, a member of the team Antarctic Crunchers found a megaprime for base R198.
The prime 484*198^491623-1 has 1.129.097 digits and entered the T5k PrimePages.
