An update for the progress on each sub project in yoyo@home:OGR-28is 89% completed (https://stats.distributed.net/projects.php?project_id=28). It will finish around beginning of 2023 (https://stats.distributed.net/project/ogr_status.php?project_id=28). Siever & ECM I see currently no end in further demands for sieving and trial factorizations. There are many many math projects which have needs for sieving and factorizations. M-Queens We are currently in the 2. of 3 parts and have there 70% done. So in total we are at 56%. We started 2 years ago. So it might take another 2 years to finish it. yoyo

hi,

the new disk is up and running after less than 4 hours later.

This disk is were Boinc save all past and present data (not the DB, that is in another more faster one) and the downside of a Boinc installation is that space in that area will grown day by day.

As the old one last for more than 3 years, we have at least other 3 years of data to process before fulling this one :)

hi,

in the next days it is planned to move the Boinc data from actual disk to another big one.

The operation will be long 2 or more hours and during that time the server will be disconnected from network.

So be sure to have the WUs you need or add backup Boinc project to use in the mean time

Dear all,

If you are running BOINC on a Windows computer, please update to a new version (7.16.20) of the BOINC client. The previous version stopped working recently because of an expired SSL file that prevented it from communicating with several BOINC projects, with the BOINC server, and with Science United. You can download the new version here: https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php
